As said countless times in the TV show Leverage,
“Sometimes bad guys make the best good guys.”
And his makes sense off the bat, after all, criminals know a thing of two about crime and could probably tell you how to beat it. In a way, this is the same message of 2014’s top grossing movie so far, Guardians of the Galaxy. The theme of the movie is a few “bad guys” learning to be “good guys” by saving the day together. While the humor keeps us laughing and the action keeps us awed, do we understand the underlying message we are drinking in at the same time? It could be medicine or it could be poison, either way it is there.
Let’s question the message.

Can bad actions be justified, or atoned for through good actions?
