Look, I have nothing against George Clooney. If anything, I’m somewhat happy because he will for sure attend the ceremony when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler still host. If you follow all the funny stunts this trio has been pulling off because of Fey’s remark last year about Gravity as “the story of how George Clooney would rather float away into space and die than to spend one more minute with a woman his own age.” — you’ll know what I mean.
And it’s only Golden Globe, people. We shouldn’t take this Award too seriously. But if out of curiosity you wonder if George Clooney really is on top of the waiting list for this kind of recognition? The answer is for sure, not. These are at least 5 other big names who should have been considered urgently for this award instead (in no particular order):
