So, this is all just rumors and speculations, but I would be remiss if I didn’t talk about.
Den of Geek reported that a couple of days ago a screening of BvS took place for the crew and the Warner execs, and the response was so positive to the movie in general and to Affleck in particular (the source used words like “standing ovation” and “definitive Batman”) that WB wants to “work their movie universe around Ben’s Batman” by producing not one standalone movie like they initially planned, but and entire trilogy. That would lock Affleck to play the Caped Crusader for at least another 10 years.
Later in the day Deadline reported that Warner Bros. has pushed back two films that Affleck will be starring in, which would give more credit to the “Golden Deal” rumor.
